Plan a really fun time in our lovely little MG Midget. The prettiest of the "modern" Midgets, our car was built at Abingdon in 1969. It has the 1275cc engine and genuine wind-up windows! |
There's something about dashing around in an MG Midget that makes you smile. They are really sporty and so much fun. Easy to drive and just the ticket for a motoring adventure you won't forget. Once driven forever smitten!

The MG Midget was probably the reason for the success of the MG car company from it's introduction in 1929. In splendid British "David and Golliath" fashion this tiny sports car pitched battle with the mightiest and won. Appealing to rich and poor, large and small, the MG Midget was a classless brand and has gathered a great following evident still with all the MG car clubs and enthusiasts around today.

I have a particular fondness for this car, as it was the car I owned as a Student some 28 years ago. I have driven any number of superior cars in the intervening years but jumping back into this car with all it's smells and gruffness really turns the clock back and makes me rember all those good times. There's nothing quite like it! |
